Celebrity XXX Scandals

Celebrity sex tapes!!! For some reason when they are release, they are always the biggest buzz throughout the internet. It is like the world has undergone World Peace, or we have found a solution to world hunger, but whatever it is, you just know that it is going to be a good day when a celebrity sex tape is released. (Remember this is only from my perspective, so for all the girls reading this, please don't assume that all guys are like this).

With all the goods of the sex tape, have you ever wondered about the consequences? Did you notice how the female in the tape are always the one to be blame and labelled as a "Whore," while the male are either unnoticed or applauded for their actions? This may seem unfair, but this is just how society works. Media has portray that having sex for a guy is an okay thing, while having sex for a girl is something to be dishonorable.

It is weird because humans are sexual creature and for one gender (male) it is okay to express it, but for the other gender (female) it's like a taboo if it is spoken about. We tend to judge females quicker than we do with the males. The reasoning for this is because the dominant discourse in our society of a female is to be classy, conservative, compassionate, nurturing, sympathetic, and all of that good stuff, so seeing a female doing all of these sexual activity "supposedly" ruins that angelic image.

But have you ever wondered who idea was it to record that sex scene, or who was the one who was recording it? Well most of the time it is the guy's decision to record it, but since the girl allows him to record it, she is automatically the one to be blamed. It doesn't take one person to have sex but two (maybe sometimes even more), so it shouldn't just be the female's responsibility but also the other person who was involved with that video.

Just the idea of a female being called a "Whore," because she was having sexual intercourse with someone is terrible because having sex isn't something that should be look down upon, but instead it should be celebrated. Sex is a beautiful thing and it should not matter what race they are, what gender they are, or even what sexual orientation they are. What counts the most is that they are in love, getting pleasured, or just being happy!!!

Questions (heterosexual intercourse):

1. What do you think of the male in the celebrity sex tapes?

2. Who should be blamed for the video, the female or the male?

3. Why do you think celebrity have sex tapes in the first place?

  1. As the great Philosopher Waleed once sasid "If a man sees a girl with clothes, he wants to see her without clothes". Lets face it men do not watch a show as crappy as "Keeping up with the Kardashians" because Kim Kardashian has a great personaity. The only reason someone as talentless as her has a career in hollywood is because she is attractive to men. I have not seen the sex tape because i do not want to pay to watch some girl having sex with some big black dude but other men will pay for this. If Kanye West's Bound 2 is any indication, Kim redefines what it means to be a slut, even with a child she is provocative and her husband allows for this. Call me a traditionalist but Kim Kardashian is a disgrace to women everywhere. (she is hot but she is married so she is a disgrace.)

  2. To answer your last question Steven:
The only possible answer i can think of to that is for "ATTENTION"! like seriously? why would someone take their time to tape themselves naked? Are they attention seekers... YES. The most obvious person who gain the most attention from releasing her own sex tape would be Kim Kardashain! ( DUH) the amount of attention and amount publicity she gained from that ... to be honest, i dont even understand why sex tapes are even allowed to posted online.

    1. I totally agree with you that they only do this for attention and it is sad to say but many people actually do enjoy these tapes therefore making big profits for these celebrities.

  3. Everyone has make sex tapes. There no surprise to that but the things they do to their sex tapes is another topic. Similarly to Dharshiga's post, people are attention seekers. Just like Kim Kardashian. No one knew her before the sex tape and when it got released for everyone to see, she got famous and now everyone knows who she is.

  4. Finally someone mentions the airhead that is Kim Kardashian. I totally agree with Dharshi and Selina. People are definitely allowed to make their own sex tapes but it's when you release them that it becomes a problem. To answer your first question, I feel like men don't get any recognition in these sex tapes. I mean you have the one with Kim Kardashian, nobody really cared that Ray J was apart of it too because most people wanted to see/judge Kim. Both the guy and the girl should be blamed if the tape goes viral on the web because they both gave consent and they both knew the consequences that could come up. Of course if one gender doesn't give consent and the video gets put up then that's a whole different story.

    1. I totally agree with you that both the guy and the girl should be blame, but the reality is that the public usually only blames the female because "they" are apparently suppose to be the innocent one.

  5. Men in sex tapes are smart because they know they won't receive as much criticism that a woman would receive. There are definitely smarter men who would rather save their reputation and not release nor make sex tapes for the media. Both sexes are to blame for the backlash they receive. Why would one decide to do it and have the other agree? Exposed sex tapes always end up nasty like Paris Hilton who actually donated that money from her lawsuit, to charity. Celebrities have sex tapes for attention and money. Interesting post, Steven.

  6. I think male is less affected, but as for female it’s another story, due to the way how put lens on male and female. I think whoever post the video, should be blamed for. It doesn't matter whether they did it intentionally or not. But as sex tapes are seen publicly, the unknown person all of sudden get famous and well – know after one night.

    1. Yes it is true that males are less affected, and you are right that they do they get famous over night, but it is just not decent for someone to be famous over something like this.

  7. Nice post Steven. I'd like to answer your last question there. I believe that sex tapes are there and being presented in media as many celebreties seek attention and want publicity. They want to be more noticed and sex tapes can provide you with a lot of money as there are many horny people out there who want to see nude celebreties. It's all about money, fame, power, and media to celebrities nothing less.

    1. Good point Ajmal. It is scary how society are so in to these tapes that they are allowing the celebrities to get what they want, money, fame and power!!!

  8. As a straight male, Id try not to pay to much attention to the male in the tape, I dont find naked males appealing. Both parties should be blamed, since they both played a role in the tape. They do it for publicity. When you need a jumpstart your career, what better way then gossip? Celeb sex tapes always seem to do the trick. Just look at Kim K.
